I think the Lakers should probably extend D Lo, if for nothing else a potential trade before the deadline. Also see if they can land either Brook Lopez or Myles Turner. This puts AD back at the 4 and gives them another great defender in the starting rotation. If they can get CP3 on the cheap then that’ll be great but if not see if they can re-acquire Caruso from Chicago. That would take care of the backup point position. Then resign Troy Brown and Tristan to minimum deals, possibly add Drummond on the vet min. Max Christie and Cole Swider are waiting to contribute let’s see how good they are. The Lakers should be fine if those moves can be made

I like option 2. Extend Reaves and Rui. Pick up Beasley and Bamba’s option. Resign Lonnie Walker. Go for Kyrie or VanVleet. All the while drafting a young talented player at the 17th pick. Just make sure they keep that young core in tact

Why would you get rid of a player who contributed to winning and the culture too, when you can’t replace him? Stop over-reacting to one series and sign him to a team friendly deal. A bit of continuity could go a long way and we haven’t seen that in years
I like Russel....but his ups n downs playoff performance probably wont land him back next season....lakers in dire needs a prolific PG scorers like Kyrie or Dame. That will change the game. And add back dwight howard God sake. The superman is superb in disrupting bigs like jokic.
