I Made Sonic the Hedgehog but it's 3D. . . I played the original Sonic the Hedgehog games all the time while I was growing up, and wanted to see what it would look like if it was remade as a 3D game. In this video, I recreated the Green Hill Zone level. Also, I realized after finishing the video that Sonic Adventure 2 Battle did something similar, but I didn’t realize this because in order to play that level, apparently you needed to 100% the game with all A ranks. So uh, yeah I didn’t know that. Although some things do seem a little different in that version compared to the original. In this video I compare the latest version of Myst with the original game from 1993 and the other remasters/remakes. The current Myst version was exclusively available for Oculus VR systems in December 2020, now it has been released for other VR systems and can also be played without VR. Myst 2020/2021 uses the Unreal engine, while the last remake from 2014 ("realMyst Masterpiece Edition") uses the Unity engine, so again an interesting comparison. I look particularly at the graphics, sound and movement styles in the following five games: Myst (1993), Myst Masterpiece Edition (1999), realMyst (2000), realMyst Masterpiece Edition (2014) and Myst (2020/2021). We have some BIG news that there will be more Resident Evil remakes on the way in the coming years. Due to the success of Resident Evil 4 remake, Capcom are interested in knowing from the fans which Resident Evil games we'd like to see remade in the future. With Resident Evil games hitting store shelves every other year or so, the next Resident Evil remake doesn't seem too far off. This video goes in detail what games would be best suited for future remakes, and of course, I want to know from you all in the comments what you'd like to see in a future Resident Evil remake. In other words: can the most infamously haunted game ever made resurrect itself? How many forms can such a game take? Also: what does it mean to be immersed? I experienced several unfortunate delays with this one, including an illness and losing half of my footage (which also included almost all of my VR footage - specifically the VR footage inside of P.T. Emulation, by far the best reconstruction of P.T. out there). It led to a bit of a disaster and my drive to finish the video flagged a bit because of technical setbacks. I am terribly sorry that I couldn't put that in the video, but nonetheless, I hope still to have contributed a valuable essay to the already intimidating pile that exists for P.T., the game that makes me depressed to think about. Also, finally, I realized that the part of the video that I entitle onscreen as "204683" should actually be called "204863". A really simple error that I should have caught, so I might fix that later. I'm not exactly sure how that one slipped through the cracks, but I'll blame it on my busy schedule that barely allowed me to make this video in the first place. Have been pretty exhausted (to say the least) but gave this one my all despite my low energy levels.
