It takes around 10-12 minutes. • Pour 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large shallow pot. Add a pinch of salt and brown onions on low-medium heat fpr around 20 minutes. • Soak the rice in water for 20 minutes. • Spare the half of the brown onions for top. • Add in the strained rice into the pot, pour 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil and a pinch of salt, then sauté until the rice transparent. • Then add in the boiled lentils, 2 cups of lentils boiling water. 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil and a pinch of salt, give it a last stir and put the lid on. Transfer the pot to a smaller burner on low heat. Simmer for about 10 minutes. • To understand if pilav is ready, make a hole in the centre of the pilav, if grains not sliding back into centre and there is no water left. It is ready. Turn the heat off and cover with a clean kitchen cloth. Leave the rice to steam for another 10 minutes. • Meanwhile, crisp the spared onions with the sesame seeds. • Serve the pilav with crispy onions on top. Enjoy warm or cold, it is delicious either way!

Puis la tarte entière à la même température 40 min HUILE PIMENTÉE (1 bocal moyen) : 🤍 Huile Infusée : 250ml Huile Neutre 1 Gousse d’Ail 1/4 d’Oignon 1/2 càs de Poivre en Grains 1 Anis Étoilé 1 grain de Cardamome 1 bâton de Canelle Mélange Piment : 30g de Piment en Flocons (dispo en épicerie asiatique) 1 càs de Graines de Sésame 1/2 cac de Sel RIZ SAUTÉ (2 belles portions) : Base: 2 bols de Riz cuit de la veille 2 càs d’huile pimentée 2 càs Sauce Soja Sucrée 1 càs Kelpamare Autre : 250g de Tofu ferme (en boutique asiatique) 1 Oignon nouveau (ou 1/2 oignon) 2 Carottes moyennes 2 poignées de Petits Pois congelés Pincée de Curcuma Sel & Poivre PUDDING DE CHIA : 50g de Framboises surgelées ou fraîches 230ml Lait Végétal Vanille (si on choisit sans sucres, ajouter 1 càs de Sirop d’Érable) 3 càs de Graines de Chia 👉🏼 Laisser reposer au moins 2h au frais, 1 nuit c’est mieux ! Alfredo used to be my FAVORITE thing to order at restaurants when I was little. (Or 4 cheese pasta. All about that creamy pasta sauce life.) Now when I’m craving it, Eric makes a MEAN vegan version that you *must* try. Couple notes. First: Adjust the recipe based on how *indulgent* you want it to be. If we’re making it for a normal weeknight dinner we use a little less vegan butter and cheese so it’s lighter but still tasty. But if we were making it for a special occasion or for guests, we would add extra butter and parm for max deliciousness. Second: A few days ago I asked y’all to DM me your favorite nondairy cream substitutions that *aren’t* cashews. Some recommendations I got were puréed silken tofu, vegan cream products by Flora and Country Crock, and puréed sunflower seeds. I’ll get to work testing some of these options for future recipes since I know not everyone is as obsessed with cashews as I am. 😂 Now for the recipe: 12 oz fettuccine or other long pasta 1 cup raw cashews, soaked 4+ hours or overnight 1 cup water 2-4 tablespoons vegan butter (see note above) 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes  half an onion, or 1 shallot, finely diced (optional) 1 tbsp minced garlic 4-8 oz vegan parmesan shreds (see note above) 1 cup reserved pasta water salt and pepper -Make the cashew cream by blending soaked cashews with 1 cup water till smooth -Cook pasta till al dente. Reserve a cup of the starchy pasta water for the sauce. -Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Bloom red pepper flakes for 30 seconds in the vegan butter. -Sauté onion and garlic 3-5 minutes, till onions are translucent. -Add in the cashew cream and vegan parm, along with a splash of pasta water. Stir until melted. Reduce heat slightly if mixture is bubbling too much. Taste the sauce and add more salt and pepper to your preference. -Add in cooked pasta and toss to coat. Veggie Ground 1 head of cauliflower 2 medium carrots 1 onion 3 cloves of garlic 16 oz portobello mushrooms () 2 tbls Italian seasoning 1 tbls paprika 2 tsp sage 2 tsp garlic granules 1 tsp thyme 1 tsp oregano 2 tsp cumin powder 1.5 cups walnuts (*) 3 tbls tomato paste 3 tsp salt OR TO YOUR TASTE * for nut free version omit walnuts and add another 8oz of portobello mushrooms more coarsely chopped than the first portion to keep some texture. for mushroom free use equivalent in jackfruit and process in to smaller pieces. Coarsely chop all vegetables and garlic in a food processor. Mushrooms can be made even courser for a more meaty texture (This will need to be done in batches) Coarsely chop walnuts along with tomato paste until combined. Add 1 tbls of water to heated pan. Add vegetables and mushrooms and continue to cook on medium-high until all the water releases (10-15 minutes) When most of the water has cooked out add seasoning. Continue to cook on medium for another 10 minutes, or until all the water has evaporated. Turn off heat and add walnut and tomato paste mixture. Mix thoroughly to combine. Add to your dish of choice. Enjoy! Keeps well in the fridge for 3-5 days or in the freezer. I can’t tell you how long since mine never makes it more than a couple weeks without being used!

RECIPE (3-4 servings, 40min prep time) -1 part rice, washed -2 parts water -a pinch of salt Cook on low until nice and fluffy. Veggies: -3 large carrots -400g mushrooms -200g chard or spinach -1 Tbsp oil for frying Finely chop everything and fry in some oil. Season to taste -1/2 cucumber -1 Tbsp each soy sauce and agave -2 Tsp vinegar -1 Tsp chili flakes Mix Protein: -200g firm tofu -1 Tbsp sesame oil -2 Tbsp soy sauce -2 cloves minced garlic Mix and marinate for 30min. Then fry 4-5mins. Sauce: -2 Tbsp Gochujang -1 Tbsp sesame oil -1 Tbsp water -1 Tbsp sugar -1 Tsp vinegar -1/2 Tsp garlic powder -1 Tbsp sesame seeds Mix and assemble everything in a bowl.
