Get onboard this propeller engine ATR 42 of Sky Express and follow this on route from Rhodes to Heraklion, Crete. Enjoy an engine and propeller view and observe the changing of the pitch of the propeller in the different phases of flight (a procedure that maximizes the efficiency of the propeller). I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by SKY Express. SKY Express has really new Airbus A320s in its fleet. These have been taken over from AirAsia. Sky Express is a budget airline and you pay for every extra service - checked in luggage, seat selection, lounge access, etc. The first round of the inflight service was free of charge. Additional drinks and snacks can be purchased. The total flying time for this flight from Athens to Larnaca Cyprus was about 1 hr and 20mins.
