In todays video i taste, review and rate the Kirin Fuji-sanroku blended japanese whisky. It cost around 450 dkr for 70 cl and it is 50 % alc. It is artificially colored, but I dont know if it's chill filttered or not. This whisky was launched in 2016 and is produced with Rain and melted snow from Mount Fuji. It has aged in ex-bourbon, american white oak casks. The name Kirin Fuji-sanroku, translates into, At the foot of Mount Fuji. There is no sponsored content in this video and as always everthing on this channel is just my opinion. The nose is powerfull with spicy grain, hints of peated malt, and way in the back, hint of dried fruit, nuts, vanila, honey sweetnes, caramel and bubble gum. The palate is powerfull with spicy grain and hints of peated malt and sweetnes. The finish is mouth watering with spicy grain, peated malt, vanila, honey and caramel. I rate it 8 out of 10...

Katsuragi Sanroku Park is located in the Teraguchi district of the southwestern part of Katsuragi City (at the foot of Mount Katsuragi), and is located in the Oshikai Valley and Namaru Valley near the Yamaguchi and Hiraoka districts. This is #3 Whisky from my Auction purchase. I paid $141 inc. auction fees – RRP is $200-$220 This whisky is produced by Japanese beer giants Kirin. First launched in early 2016, this is a blended whisky including both medium and heavy grains, mixed with a peated malt whisky. The whisky's name translates as “at the foot of Mount Fuji”, where it is produced, at the Fuji Gotemba distillery which was opened in 1973, and is little known beyond Japan. The distillery’s location is featured on the label, and this whisky is produced using rain and snow melt from the iconic mountain. Fuji Sanroku was matured in former Bourbon American oak barrels, giving it a delicate toffee and spice flavour which blends with it's faint smoke. Tasting Notes: Nose: Toffee, pineapple, passion fruit, apricot jam. Palate: Orange, rye spice, nutmeg, cloves, apricot jam, pineapple, wood shavings, passion fruit. Finish: Very well controlled wood.
