Ukraine has great chances to develop its counteroffensive in winter, despite Russian massive attacks on the country's energy system and other critical infrastructure. The Ukrainian army is motivated, prepared, and has modern weapons thanks to its allies. The Russians, on the other hand, are suffering huge losses, and are forced to gradually leave the previously occupied territories. And according to British intelligence, there is a significant decrease in support for the war against Ukraine among the population in Russia, and it will be increasingly difficult for the Russian authorities to obtain consent for its continuation in the future. Brittney Griner freed from Russian prison

Russia freed WNBA star Brittney Griner on Thursday in a dramatic high-level prisoner exchange, with the U.S. releasing notorious Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, American officials said. The swap, at a time of heightened tensions over Ukraine, achieved a top goal for President Joe Biden, but carried a heavy price — and left behind an American jailed for nearly four years in Russia. The deal, the second such exchange in eight months with Russia, procured the release of the most prominent American detained abroad. Griner is a two-time Olympic gold medalist whose monthslong imprisonment on drug charges brought unprecedented attention to the population of wrongful detainees. Biden's authorization to release a Russian felon once nicknamed "the Merchant of Death" underscored the escalating pressure that his administration faced to get Griner home, particularly after the recent resolution of her criminal case and her subsequent transfer to a penal colony. The swap was confirmed by U.S. officials with direct knowledge of the negotiations who were not authorized to publicly discuss the deal before a White House announcement and spoke on condition of anonymity. No heating, gas and electricity. Residents of Russia complain that it is very cold in their houses in winter. However, the government is still raising tariffs. This year, the indexation of the cost of utilities for the population is held for the second time. Although over the past 10 years tariffs have been revised twice a year only in 2019, a second increase this year will be another blow to Russian incomes and consumer demand, analysts say. A drone attack targeted on Tuesday a Russian airfield in the border Kursk region. The attack comes one day after attacks on two military airfields deep inside Russian territory which killed three soldiers and injured four others. Russia blamed Ukraine for the attack on the Dyagilevo airfield in the Ryazan region and the Engels airfield in the Saratov region. Ukraine did not claim responsibility for the attacks, but if Russia's accusations are true, it would be the deepest Ukrainian attack inside Russia since the war started on February 24. The Saratov region is at least 600 km (370 miles) from the nearest Ukrainian border. Many commentators and analysts have suggested that this would mean the Ukrainian forces are capable of hitting Moscow. Explosions have reportedly hit a Russian airbase far from the Ukrainian border, damaging two long-range bombers. Unverified videos of the blasts have been posted on a variety of Telegram channels. The blasts early Monday struck the airbase near the city of Engels, more than 600 kilometers inside Russian territory. The bombers damaged are said to be of the same type used to carry out airstrikes on Ukraine's infrastructure. Another explosion hit a military base near the Russian city of Ryazan. At least three people were reportedly killed after a fuel tank exploded. So far there has been no claim of responsibility for either of the blasts. Hundreds of Russian Soldiers Surrendered: Putin's Elite Soldiers Raised White Flag to Ukraine!

#ukraine #russia #war #news #ukrainerussiawar #russiaukraineconflict #politicalnews Russia is suffering one of the most stunning defeats in history against the legendary defence of the Ukrainian army. The mass surrender of Putin's soldiers is changing the fate of the war. But what is the reason for the surrender of Russian soldiers to Ukrainian soldiers, who are believed to be weaker than them despite being outnumbered? The number one reason is, of course, the exemplary defence of the Ukrainian army in many areas. With a historic resistance, the Ukrainian army managed to foil all of Russia's plans. But can the success of an army force its enemies to surrender? This question is very important. Let us go to the battlefield to answer it. Russia currently occupies three regions in Ukraine: Luhansk, Donetsk and Zaporozhia! Kherson, the largest regional capital occupied by Russia, was liberated by the Ukrainian army. The Ukrainian army managed to push Russia to the eastern side of the Dnipro river. Of course, this was not easy. The Ukrainian army managed to gain the upper hand in this war by making very important strategic moves. In total, more than 90,000 Russian soldiers have been killed so far! The first reason that pushed the Russian soldiers to surrender was this feeling of great defeat. Russian soldiers are now fully convinced that they cannot win this war against Ukraine. The Ukrainian army has managed to gain the psychological upper hand. So many soldiers have died in the Russian army that all the soldiers who are fighting now think that they will be killed if there is a conflict. That is why they are trying to escape from the army or surrender immediately. On many fronts, Russian soldiers immediately started waving white flags when they saw the Ukrainian army. Russian soldiers surrender by raising their hands without any conflict. The Ukrainian army is constantly sharing these images. Ukrainian drones record all the movements of the Russian army. The surrender images of Russian soldiers are also recorded by Ukrainian drones. When these images are shared on social media accounts, they attract great attention. The biggest interest is shown by other Russian soldiers. Russian soldiers share these images with each other and say that they should surrender. In addition, the Ukrainian army shows a very positive approach towards the surrendered Russian soldiers. Russian soldiers who surrendered to the Ukrainian army say that they were treated very well in the videos they shot and call on other Russian soldiers to surrender. In the most popular of these videos, the Russian soldier said: "Here they give us hot food, winter clothes and a comfortable bed. None of this is in the Russian army!" We are ANKA. Putin Lost Control: Are The Russian People Revolting Against Kremlin?

27.11.2022

#ukraine #russia #war #news #ukrainerussiawar #russiaukraineconflict #politicalnews In Russia, which invaded Ukraine, there are many tensions developing outside the war. Vladimir Putin, the authoritarian leader of Russia, is currently facing the most challenging times of his political career. Every day, Putin's power decreases a little bit more. But what led Putin to find himself in such a precarious position? Let's not forget the difficulties Putin faced at the time he started this war, and let's take a look at the factors that led to the conflict in the first place: There was a steady decline in public support for Vladimir Putin in Russia. In Russia, polls were taken, and the results showed that Putin's time in politics was coming to an end. In addition to this, other nations did not respect Putin as much as they had in the past! Putin began the war in order to demonstrate his power to the rest of the world and to gain support from the Russian people. Putin intended to use this conflict to establish a reputation for himself as a national hero. He also intended to win a victory that would go down in history by expanding the borders of Russia. But this did not come to pass! The Ukrainian army put up an extraordinary fight and was able to foil all of Putin's schemes. Before the war began, Vladimir Putin made several public statements in which he predicted that it would only take a few days for Russia to conquer Ukraine. His statement that the Russian army could be in Kiev within hours roused the excitement of his supporters. As soon as the war began, it became clear that Putin had been lying! The Russian invasion was initially halted by the Ukrainian armed forces. Then, one by one, it was able to successfully free the territories that were occupied by Russia! This has done a significant amount of damage to Putin's reputation. When Russia made the decision to go to war, the first protests broke out as well! The insurgents who coordinated the anti-war demonstrations claimed that Putin's political career was the sole motivation for this conflict. However, Putin took a very strong stance against these activists and intervened. The beginning of this war by Russia has also resulted in significant harm to the Russian economy. The Russian government has announced that the country's inflation rate has hit all-time highs. The people of Russia were informed of a new tax increase every single day. Because of this circumstance, there were more people in Russia who were against the war. As a result of the deterioration of the Russian economy, citizens have demanded that the war be brought to an end. Increased numbers of people took part in demonstrations against Putin! The deaths of soldiers, however, were what set off the riots. To this day, 8,6150 Russian service members have lost their lives in Ukraine. Russia did not acknowledge these numerical values. On the other hand, funerals for fallen soldiers began to take place on a daily basis across the entirety of Russia. The news about soldiers' funerals has been censored by the Putin administration. As a consequence of this, it was impossible to determine how many funerals were held in Russia for servicemen on a given day. However, Russian citizens banded together on social media and were able to figure out how many funerals were held on the same day for soldiers. Because of this, it was demonstrated that the numbers provided by the Russian government were wholly and entirely fictitious! The people of Russia are seething with rage as a result of this situation.

#ukraine #russia #war #news #ukrainerussiawar #russiaukraineconflict #politicalnews Ukraine's historic resistance has disrupted the Russian army's entire order! As a result of the counter-operations launched by the Ukrainian army, Russian soldiers began to surrender! This is causing new problems! The crisis in Russia is deepening as a result of the surrender of Russian soldiers. Before we dwell on the details of this crisis, there are some questions we need to answer. What is going on in the Russian army, which claims to be the most powerful army in the world? What is the truth behind the surrender of Russian soldiers? First of all, let's be clear: Russia is ruled by an oppressive regime. Putin, who claims to love his nation, is leading his own people into poverty and death! No democratic institution in Russia is functioning properly. The Russian people want this war to end as soon as possible. But Putin's government insists on continuing the war. Because Putin needs this war to preserve his power. So what is the connection between this war and Putin's preservation of power? Putin has ruled Russia for 23 years. During this time, Putin has increased his repressive policies and has become increasingly authoritarian. This situation also affected the Russian economy very badly. Inflation has risen in Russia and the Russian people have started to react against Putin! Putin chose to increase the tension in the country in order to unite the Russian people. He chose an easy target and attacked Ukraine. Putin wanted to show his power to the whole world by winning an easy victory in Ukraine. Success in this war was especially important to regain the respect of the Russian people. But Putin's dreams did not come true! The whole Russian people are trying to wake up from a big nightmare! After the failure in Ukraine, Putin realized that the Russian army was in a very inadequate state. The mobilization decision he announced to solve this problem is still being debated! The 300,000 soldiers that Putin forced into the army with this decision do not want to fight. That's why Russian soldiers started to surrender en masse! In point of fact, for conscripted soldiers, surrender was their very last option. Before that, they experimented with a variety of other approaches. The first one was not even going to be required to serve in the military! Following the announcement that the military would be mobilized, millions of Russian citizens left their country. Particularly those who could have been drafted into the armed forces made a hasty escape. They eluded capture by fleeing on bicycles, in boats, on the chassis of trucks, and even on cargo ships! The reputation of Russia suffered a great deal as a result of these images. However, not everyone was so fortunate as to get away unscathed. Conscripts who were against their will attempted to flee from military bases. A total of approximately two hundred soldiers are said to have deserted their post at the training camp in Belgorod. #ukraine #russia #war #news #ukrainerussiawar #russiaukraineconflict #politicalnews Russian leader Vladimir Putin made the biggest mistake of his life by invading Ukraine! Reactions against Putin's rule in Russia are growing every day! Soldiers in the Russian army have also started to revolt. Russia is experiencing the most chaotic period in its history! Experts say Russia is in grave danger! So how did the process turn out like this? How is Putin, who wanted to bring about the end of Ukraine, bringing about the end of Russia? What danger is Russia in? Let's answer these questions one by one! First of all, we need to rewind our calendars a little bit and take a look at the situation in Russia before the war started. Russia entered this war in a crisis. In February, just before Russia invaded Ukraine, inflation figures started to rise. Reactions against Putin in Russia were increasing day by day. It was thought that Putin had reached the end of his political career. Russia was failing in other countries too! Russia was the loser in the war between Azerbaijan and Armenia. In Syria, the Assad regime, backed by Russia, was losing power. In Crimea, demands for freedom were rising again. Russia was losing in all regions. The Eastern bloc, led by Russia, was allegedly in collapse. Putin wanted to show his own people and the whole world that he was still strong. In this way, he planned to regain popular support in Russia. But it was a very bad plan. Putin did not realize that this plan was a very bad plan because he was very confident in the strength of his army. He could not have predicted that the Ukrainian army would have such a great success. Putin's faulty plan was the beginning of the end. Mistakes followed one after another. The Russian army was completely unprepared for this war. Russian soldiers were suddenly sent to fight this war. But most of the soldiers did not want to fight! The Russian soldiers were terrified. Russian generals could not manage this fear. The Russian soldiers began to revolt! At the beginning of the war, these mutinies were small and individual. But as the war continued, the rebellion of the soldiers grew. Because the Russian army was not ready for a long war. The needs of the soldiers could not be met. First, the salaries of the mercenaries started to be withheld. The soldiers who could not get their salaries in this war where there were so many deaths became very angry. Dozens of Russian soldiers said they would not fight anymore. Russian soldiers protested by burying their weapons in the ground! The speech of the soldiers who buried their weapons in the ground attracted great attention in Russia. Because the speech of the Russian soldiers was very striking. In this video, Russian soldiers say the following: "This war is not our war, it is Putin's war. Putin started this war only to increase his own wealth and maintain his power! Too many soldiers are dying here. But none of our needs are being met. Our salaries are not paid, we cannot send money to our families. We are treated very badly here too!" We are ANKA. A very private trip through Russia - a world power with a shrinking population, a myriad of ethnic minorities, and vast distances, a country between tradtion and future. Encounters with Russians from six different generations help us get to know a Russia beyond Moscow and the Kremlin. Away from the 75th Victory Day parade and displays of military might, we meet the people of Russia. They tell us of a nation poised between tradition and the future. Filmmaker Juri Rescheto travelled through the giant country, meeting with ordinary Russians who share their everyday lives with him. They talk about their joys and sorrows, their hopes and needs, and their experiences - good and bad. The film shows intimate scenes from their homes and their workplaces, as well as glimpses of their political views, their standards of living, and their customs. The protagonists’ personal situations are presented in relation to official Russian studies on the particular generation to which they belong. In Part 1 we go to a city halfway between Moscow and Novosibirsk to meet Jelena, who works as a surrogate mother in a children’s home. Then we travel to the boreal forest in western Siberia to meet 16-year-old Veronika, who spends most of the year in a boarding school. Her parents are reindeer herders and members of the indigenous Khanty people. The generation of young adults in Russia is represented by Kirill, who holds down a normal job, but spends his free time practicing a dangerous hobby: no holds barred boxing. #ukraine #russia #war #news #ukrainerussiawar #russiaukraineconflict #politicalnews The amount of conflict that has been building between Russia and Ukraine has reached its zenith. Explosions have started taking place at an extremely frequent rate. An unusual plot was devised by the Ukrainian army, and it came dangerously close to entrapping Russia. The question now is, what exactly did the Ukrainian army want to do? Which region seen an increase in the severity of the conflicts? In order to have a conversation on this, let's review the maps and brush up on our prior knowledge. The Russian army was halted before it could reach Kiev after making significant progress in the operations that were launched from the east of Ukraine. The Russian army was only successful in occupying four districts in Ukraine during their invasion. After this stage, the Russian army, which had taken Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaphorizhia, and Kherson, entered a nightmarish phase of the conflict. During the counter operations that the Ukrainian army initiated, it conducted raids in a variety of different places. The majority of the Russian tanks that were transported to Ukraine were eliminated by drones operated by the Ukrainian military. The destruction of Russian ammo storage facilities. Because of this, the Russian army was unable to continue the ground campaign because none of the necessary equipment could be used. At this juncture, the army of Ukraine started formulating a significant strategy. The Russian military is successfully causing significant damage thanks to the plan that was executed today. The big plan that Ukraine has formulated is well received by military specialists. First, the Ukrainian army was successful in retaking the territory that Russia had taken in the Kherson region. This region was the largest regional capital that Russia conquered while they were in control of it. After the city of Kherson was freed, Ukraine gained the upper hand in terms of psychological dominance. Because Russia endured its gravest setback in this conflict and won nothing. Throughout this procedure, Zelensky adhered to an incredibly excellent policy. The astute and audacious statements made by Zelensky from the very beginning of the war had an effect on the direction that the fight would take. When this conflict is done, there will be dozens of publications written by political scientists about how successful Zelensky's policies were! We are ANKA. We are ANKA. We do our best to deliver accurate information to our viewers as soon as possible.
