The album's musical style is described as a synthesis or musical library of electronic sounds incorporated with the acid jazz instrumentation. This EP is a collection of five tracks starting with the hypnotic yes transient track 'Much Love' with the singer Abela. The second track 'Regards' brings up the motion in the EP. That takes you on a tropical yet tantalizing trip with the solo piano riffs and arithmetic glockenspiel. Ushering in the remastered re-release of the album on August 6, the track is made available on July 30. Originally emerging as a single on August 24, 1992, it earned Brian a solo hit when it reached No 5 in the UK Singles Chart. Ahead of that release, a visibly moved and note-perfect May previewed it before some 72,000 fans at Wembley Stadium’s Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in April 1992, perhaps cementing a misunderstanding about its origins. “My excuse for singing it is, I think, it’s just the best thing I have to offer”, said May, by way of his on-stage introduction to the song. His reason for singing it was not, as was often thought, that he wrote the song about the legendary Queen singer, who had died in 1991. The song has its origins back in 1986-7, when Brian wrote it with the help of a friend, eminent songwriter Frank Musker. May was in Los Angeles at the time, “far away from home” and in a “tangled state of mind”, trying to find some release from a period of profound personal upheaval. When Brian brought 'Too Much Love Will Kill You' to the rest of the band in 1988, he couldn't have known how hard it would also resonate with Freddie. This resulted in a spectacular vocal delivery from Mercury in the studio recording. But what is not common knowledge, a live rendition of the song was even better - deeply emotional but also very well executed technically. The whole band must have felt the weight of the song as they played it. The Arquest Live Remix was created using original studio tracks, live recordings, acapella tracks and more for best possible quality.
