A glimpse into the wonderful world of Yahoo! Answers. Song is Curley Shirley by Otto Sieben. Twitch channel is still underway, just been having some technical difficulties. Gonna try and get it off the ground within the week. When it's ready I'll post a quick announcement video with a scheduled time.
In Misspelled, the magician can place a text field anywhere on the playing field in which he can type a word from the set from the keyboard (stones, stone, cloud, clouds, jump and jumps). Each word after pressing enter turns into a block and whether there are blocks on which we can walk or jump. The clouds will disappear after we walk through them, and you can jump on the letters of the jump. You have only a few attempts to enter a word for each of the levels. The game is very funny, but short. The game is taken from the site Cool Math Games.
By popular demand, and just in time for Halloween, it's another Yahoo! Answers video. Twitch is finally ready for action, video with full details to come later today or tomorrow. Music: "Secret of Tiki Island" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 🤍

Memes are constantly evolving in strange and fascinating ways, but the things that make us laugh never really change. This sentiment is echoed in memes like Bogos Binted and I Forgor, two breakaway 2021 formats that lean on the same proven core equation for their success: Typos equals funny. Each format has quickly made its way across the web, sparking confusion and Google searches wherever they pop up. But this is far from the first time that the web has been captivated by mistyped words, revealing a rich history of laughing at and embracing the typed mistakes of others online. Commonly Misspelled English Words: Word Americans Misspell on Purpose! Sometimes, Americans misspell words on purpose. Why do we do this? It could be due to a number of reasons. Maybe, it just looks cool. Maybe, it’s just easier. This is quite common in other languages as well. It is often done by companies who want their brand or product to stand out. Intentional misspelling of words for an added effect is called sensational spelling and American companies do this a lot. These intentional misspelling can be quite confusing to English language learners and even some native English speakers. In this lesson, we will learn about some common intentional misspellings of words done by Americans. Let’s go! Doughnut/Donut: The standard, ‘correct’ spelling of this word is ‘doughnut’. In the United States, you will definitely see it spelled ‘donut’ pretty often. This is is just an informal variant. It should not be used in formal writing but is okay when texting, or writing friends. It is also okay to use when talking about our famous American doughnut chain, Dunkin’ Donuts—yum! Night/Nite: The accepted, standard spelling is, of course, ‘night’. But, I wish someone gave me this information in elementary school. By the time, I was seven or eight I had already come across the informal spelling—nite— enough times to think that it was actually the correct spelling. I mean, what kid growing up in the 90s in the U.S didn’t watch Nick at Nite on Nickelodeon? Anyways, remember that ‘nite’ is a nonstandard spelling of ‘night’. Only use ‘nite’ in informal settings. Through/Thru: The misspelling of this word—’thru’— is a common sensational spelling used by businesses. If you’ve ever been to a drive-thru, you know this fact well. Businesses might also post their hours as being ‘Monday thru Friday’ instead of, ‘Monday thru Friday’. Generally speaking, we should use this spelling only in informal situations Lite/Light: The correct spelling of this word is, ‘light’, but that hasn’t stopped Americans from using the common nonstandard version, ‘lite’ in products, songs, movies, etc. There was a famous children’s toy from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s called the Lite Brite (a sensational spelling of both ‘light’ and ‘bright) that has been confusing young American children about the spelling of this word for years. ‘Lite’ should only be used in informal settings. Dry/Dri: This is a less common nonstandard misspelling, but one that many American brands still use. If you’ve ever bought Nike’s sweat absorbing clothing line, Dri-Fit, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Another popular American brand that uses this nontraditional spelling is, Certain Dri, the antiperspirant company. But, in formal situations where correct spelling is necessary, use ‘dry’. Right/Rite: This is another common mix-up. Rite and right are sometimes, mistakenly, used interchangeably. Rite is a word, but has a completely different meaning from, right. A rite is a religious or ceremonial act. You might have heard of the phrase, a rite of passage, a rite of passage is a religious or ceremonial act where a person goes from one stage of life to another stage of life. In Judaism, the bar mitzvah and bat mitzvah are rites of passage. During a bar or bat mitzvah, a young Jewish child becomes a full-fledged member of the Jewish community. Luv/Love: Luv is a common nonstandard spelling of the word love. ‘Luv’ is used in many popular songs. It is also the name of an American diaper company. But, of course, use love if you need to use standard, correct spelling. Google/Googol: I don’t think there is a person on this Earth who is unfamiliar with the tech company, Google. The name of the brand, Google comes from another word, Googol. A googol is a number with one hundred zeros. It was meant to exaggerate the amount of possible results that could come up from just a single search on Google. So if you are talking about the number, make sure to use Googol and not Google. Timestamps: 1:23 Doughnut or Donut? 2:15 Nite or Night? 4:08 Light or Lite? 4:33 Dri or Dry? 5:52: Rite or Right? 7:26: Luv or Love? 7:56: Googol or Google?
