Manjaro SwayWM is a awesome unofficial community build of Manjaro featuring one of the best windows manager out today. Sway is a tiling Wayland compositor and a drop-in replacement for the i3 window manager for X11. It works with your existing i3 configuration and supports most of i3's features, plus a few extras. I've for a long a long time suggested Manjaro Linux if you want to use Arch but don't want to deal with the out of box Arch Linux experience but they've made so many bad decisions I can no longer do so, just use a GUI Arch installer, Endeavour OS, Garuda or another Arch based distro that uses the Arch repos. Manjaro Sway is a lightweight distro for the Raspberry Pi 4. It uses the Tiling Windows Manager called Sway. Sway is basically i3 but uses Wayland rather than x11. Most configurations that work with i3 will also work with Sway. I had a great experience with Manjaro Sway on my Pi4! Sin embargo, indicarte que se trata de una configuración muy básica, y el resultado deja mucho que desear, con lo que te recomiendo que revises los siguientes vídeos de la lista para conseguir una configuración óptima y realmente productiva. Si no conoces lo que es un Tiling Window Manager o Gestor de Ventanas de Tipo Mosaico, indicarte que se trata de un "entorno de escritorio" que te permitirá trabajar con los "dedos".

In this episode, I review two distributions of Manjaro Linux, the two dynamic tiling window managers i3 and Sway. It is the first in a new series where I review the different desktops of a distribution. Currently I am doing Manjaro, a very popular Arch-based distribution of Linux. I plan on reviewing the three official distributions as well as the five Community editions. I decidedeven though it makes for a bit longer of a video than normalto review the two tiling window managers because they are essentially the same, though with some major differences, not the least is that Sway uses the Wayland graphical display instead of X11. Though Sway uses the same keybindings as i3 (sort of), there are a lot of differences under the hood, most especially in the configuration files. So join me on another journey, especially if you've always wanted to learn about the various desktops of Manjaro and which one you think you might like the best.
