Korg Monologue: 🤍 In this video I use the Korg Monologue as an effects processor by running various instruments through it's audio input jack. Specifically I run a guitar (Epiphone ES-339), bass (Fender Precision), Volca Beats and my voice through it (Shure SM-58). I start off by tweaking the sounds then record a little song at the end so you can hear all the instruments together. ■■■■■ SOCIAL ■■■■■ 🤍 🤍 🤍 ■■■■■ GEAR ■■■■■ 🤍 ■■■■■ MUSIC ■■■■■ 🤍 🤍 🤍 ■■■■■ APPS ■■■■■ 🤍n 🤍
I recently noticed that, although many of my synths have audio-in ports, I have never actually used them to process audio. In this video I am exploring the audio-in capabilities of the Korg Monologue and the Elektron Digitone. For this beat I processed an electric guitar through the Monologue and Digitone to design sounds, as if they were guitar pedals. I hope you enjoy this live-sounding beat, and I hope the video provides some inspiration for your own production. I will be in the comments, so let me know if you want to see more videos like this one! #Korg

With Korg Monologue’s external audio input, users can route Monologue’s own audio output back into its input, to pass through its built-in analog overdrive effect and powerful analog resonant low pass filter twice! Use this trick to generate a feedback loop, bring in external audio, or create powerful drones with just a single 1/4” patch cable. Like/Follow us: USA 🤍 🤍 🤍 UK 🤍 🤍 JAPAN 🤍 🤍
First try with my new Korg Monologue and my old Yamaha DSR-500. The Output of the DSR-500 ist connected the the audio-input of the Monologue. Also the DSR controls the Monologue via Midi. This video was a test, if the sound of my audio-interface is heard on the video. I used a IK Multimedia I-RIG PRO DUO. The Monologue runs through a VOX Mini 5 Rhythm Guitar Amp using a Tweed 4x10 Ampsimulation and a bit of Delay and Chorus. Also connected to the I-RIG was a Microphone. I put it outside the balcony door because the birds were so nice.
I got a korg monologue yesterday and was about to use the audio in to process a guitar signal. Thanks to Daniel Fisher’s sweetwater video that sparked the idea (and Pete Townshend’s work on “Won’t get fooled again.”)
In this episode of JohnG TV I show off the Monologue's Audio In feature.
This is hardware a jam using a Roland TR-8, Korg Volca Keys into a Korg Monologue via the Drive filter, with Volca Bass doing the chords (manually synced at a 32bpm) with a Volca Kick playing the bassline and a live melody from a Minilogue. Playing the KORG Monologue paired with a volca fm via Audio In and midi. With a little bit of drumming and sequencing from Tanzbär lite + x0xb0x and with built-in delay and reverb effects from Behringer mixer. In this session I explore the variability of the Monologue sound by means of different scenes using my new MegaMorph midi controller. Morphing is activated/paused with a foot switch, so I have both hands for the keyboard. There are no samples or audio crossfades, just pure midi control of sound parameters. Sound: KORG Monologue + volca fm, MFB Tanzbär lite, x0xb0x (x0xsh0p.de) Sequencing: x0xb0x (own "bioarp" OS) Control: MegaMorph (midi fighter twister + matlab scripts on minix mini pc + iConnect mio10) Mixing & FX: Behringer XR-18
I liked what this ended up doing to the tone of the sax. I may set it up again and sample it. Please do enjoy. Signal Chain: I sent the Record Player into the Audio In jack of the Korg Monologue, then out of the Monologue and into the TC Electronic Flashback Delay, Electro-Harmonix Memory Boy, and Electro-Harmonix 360 Nano Looper (I had a beat in the looper but liked the take without it, so it's not really doing anything on this one.)

The Korg Minilogue, other than being a great value and richly featured analog synthesizer, makes an interesting guitar effects processor. Weird looking pedal. Why are there piano keys bruh DeArmond S-65 into Korg Minilogue. Amp is a Mesa-Boogie Studio Caliber

The Monologue is passed through the Minilogue's audio input, which acts as a kind of mixer in this very minimalist set-up. The Minilogue plays an arpeggio pattern and the Monologue is played live on the keyboard. That's all!

Korg’s new Monologue is a monophonic analog synthesizer with 25 slim keys, a brand new filter, a drive circuit, an audio input, and a lot more. It’s also available in 5 color options. In this video, B&H’s Gregory Johnson takes it for a test drive. Note: the synth is battery powered and does not come with a power supply, so we recommend picking up the Korg KA350 Power Adapter with purchase.
