How to enter hidden menu in Ford #Sync3 infotainment system. This test mode will give you access to diagnostic data about your system, will perform speakers test going though all audio channels one by one. You can check here how's the GPS signal reception. And you can change skin of the system by selecting one of the available themes for #Ford and Lincoln cars. Make sure that the sound is not muted and audio volume is set at least to 1, then press and hold button NEXT on the steering wheel, and NEXT under the infotainment display. After few seconds speakers test will begin, which you can end at any time to enter #hiddenMenu. This is our Reversing Camera kit for the Ford Models from 2015 to 2019 for cars with Factory Fitted Sync2 or Sync3 system. This Plug and Play kit comes with a T harness loom that will plug into the Sync unit fitted behind the display screen or the separate Sync unit located behind the speedo. Our low voltage NTSC camera will replace either your existing tailgate handle or number plate lamp. Once fitted simply plug the supplied programmer into the cars OBD port under the drivers side of the dashboard and it will automatically code the sync unit to activate the rear camera. This will then display the camera menu in the settings screen - giving you the option of only having the camera in reverse gear or having a delay option, which will keep the camera image on the display until the car reaches 15 mph. The kit will not provide moving guidelines but if factory parking sensors are installed then they will show on the top right corner of the screen. Simply let us know what model of Ford you have from the list below. Once you have used the kits programmer it is of no use and you are welcome to return it to us via a tracked courier or Royal Mail. [2016-12-22] A look at Android Auto on SYNC 3 version 2.2; version 2.2 was available early due to a software leak on many Ford vehicle forums around December 20, 2016. The software was officially released by Ford to all 2016 model year vehicles on (2017) May 19. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are enabled with this upgrade to Sync 3. Unfortunately, due to a hardware change, most 2016 vehicles will need a USB hub upgrade to enable Apple CarPlay functionality. Android Auto does not require any hardware upgrades.
