It is known for its ancient history and its well-preserved old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Nessebar is located about 35 km from Burgas, the largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. 👉Nessebar ( known as Slanchev Bryag / Слънчев бряг for bulgarians or SUNNY BEACH for international community ) has lots to offer. Only 20 kilometers north of Burgas is the cute resort town of Pomorie, it sits on a narrow peninsula. It is only 18 kilometers south of the mega resort Sunny Beach, it is mostly popular with tourist who prefer less crowded and quieter atmosphere, may be a bit older and traveling more independently. Also many Bulgarians and foreigners own condos, witch they use for a vacation. You can buy a studio for around 20K, 2 or 3 bedroom flat for 50K to 70K or a luxury vaction villa for less the 200K. Property taxes and maintenance fees are low. NO timeshare scams, You own 100% and cost you less. During the winter the area with the condos is like a ghost town, most of the places are closed. Discover Varna, located on the Black Sea. The Sea Garden is the largest, oldest and best know public park and the largest landscaped park in the Blakins. We took our folding portable electric bikes and spend two days riding along the sea park and the pedestrian street of Varna. Beautiful views of the Black Sea. Seaside restaurants and shops and amusement parks. Along the Port of Varna, one can fish, eat at a small restaurant or shop. It is protected from the sea breezes.

This is also one of the most popular Bulgarian seaside resorts, which is traditionally liked by travellers from all over the world. Varna is the third-largest city in Bulgaria and the largest city and seaside resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Situated strategically in the Gulf of Varna, the city has been a major economic, social and cultural centre for almost three millennia. Varna, historically known as Odessos (Ancient Greek: Ὀδησσός), grew from a Thracian seaside settlement to a major seaport on the Black Sea. Varna is an important centre for business, transportation, education, tourism, entertainment and healthcare. The city is referred to as the maritime capital of Bulgaria and headquarters of the Bulgarian Navy and merchant marine. In 2014, Varna was awarded the title of European Youth Capital 2017. The oldest gold treasure in the world, belonging to the Varna culture, was discovered in the Varna Necropolis and dated to 4600–4200 BC. The center is of the city is marked with the Square of Independence. This is a huge pedestrian zone. There is no transport here and so nothing breaks the calm and measured atmosphere of this place. On the square are located 2 large cultural centers – the Varna Dramatic Theatre and the Opera Theatre. Between them is located a small market that will be surely interesting for guests of this wonderful city. Here you can find different types of goods, hand-made jewelry, wonderful pictures, souvenirs and wooden stuff. The neighboring square is named after Cyril and Methodius. Dormition Cathedral is also located here. The building of the cathedral finished in the end of the 19th century. Each Sunday here take place liturgies in which participates the most famous male choir in Bulgaria. The ruins of Roman baths are, without a doubt, a great historical place of interest. If you seek solitude, you can enjoy beautiful nature in Seaside Park. This park is 80 hectares big, and on its territory you will find the Culture and Sport Palace, the Planetarium, and the zoo that organizes dolphin performances. Each day, tourists are invited to attend excursions to Varna Lake, which shores still keep the ruins of the ancient basilica. Architectural excavations don’t stop in this region and you can see the unique artifacts found here if you visit the Archeological Museum of Varna that exhibits collection of gold and silver goods, sculptures and gravestones. The resort works all year long. Nowadays here have appeared modern balneological centers that attract even more tourists to this wonderful city. Administratively part of Sozopol Municipality, Burgas Province, Chernomorets is a popular seaside resort. Chernomorets lies some 24 kilometres (15 mi) southeast of the provincial capital Burgas, at the south coast of Burgas Bay, the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast's largest bay. Until 1951, it was known as Sveti Nikola (Свети Никола, "Saint Nicholas"). Chernomorets means "Black Sea man". Previously a village, it received town privileges on 2 December 2009 on the grounds that it met the demographic and infrastructure requirements due to its resort status. The town has a primary school, a kindergarten and a cultural centre (chitalishte). Chernomorets lies at the low northern slopes of the Strandzha mountain, between Cape Emine to the north and the Arkutino marshland to the south. To the east is St. Ivan Island, with Sozopol to the southeast of the town along the seaside road. Chernomorets has an Eastern Orthodox church dedicated to the town patron Saint Nicholas.
