So wonderful that iPhone fixed the complicated, highly-intuitive, problemstic SD card with its brilliant innovation of "iCloud," which is profoundly unintuitive, spiced with security hassels and other surprise ambushes, and requires watching hundreds of so-called "tech vids" to try to understand use at all. It's a variation of Apple's ingenuous Home Button, which fixed the intuitive stupidity, this time with sophisticated mechanism which actually notifies you for pressing the Home Button (and get this) "wrong," and will deny access until you do, finally, press it "right." It's everything that a real smart phone should be, uh?
Great information thanks 🙏
You put so much work in your videos and they look like real professional tutorials. Very well informed also. Hope you get the results you deserve
Great video. I had no idea (I am from a different generation🤗) I was looking for this info. Tks

Joel, would you recommend using iCloud Drive instead of Dropbox for an individual user. I have iMac, iPad iPhone. All my files total less than 10 GB.
Whether it is ICloud on Apple or One Drive on Windows, I don't understand why more people don't take advantage of these. I am not a heavy computer user. I use one at work about 30 minutes each day and one at home from time to time. Last year my brother gave me his old Mac Book, I will never own another Windows based computer after using the Mac Book. But I am still using a Windows base computer at work.
I can't begin to tell you how many people I know that have lost everything after their computer crashed. It happens a lot at work. I started taking advantage of OneDrive long ago which saved me after a hard crash. I tell other people about it and they still don't do it. When my brother gave me the MacBook the first thing I did was learn about ICloud. Its much better than OneDrive. If ever there is a hard crash, I can pick up where I left off
Thank you! Very helpful :)
Describing iCloud as a "Bucket in the sky" is the same as describing god as a White Bearded Guy in the heavens.
iCloud is a massive interconnected data storage network which is under the sea rather than in the sky.
If you have a brain in your head never use iCloud, google drive, or any online storage. Apple has gone rogue in the last year with directly spying on your devices, 24/7 location tracking on mobile devices (can not be disabled), and of course, spying on your online files. Even google hasn't gone that far.
Thanks for this very clear presentation. I love Apple software and I use pages, notes, sheet, and keynote extensively. However, I found Apple’s file management inferior to Google when it comes to sharing files with the public.
I’m writing a book containing a bunch of spreadsheets which, to my knowledge, cannot be embedded in a published pages book, and I have had to insert these sheets in Google drive link (avoiding internet sites and their annoying ads) for readers to download these spreadsheets. Why? Well for some strange reason publicly-accessible iCloud links expire after about one month.
So I have the very strange situation of having Apple sheet files stored on Google drive that are only accessible to users with Apple sheet.
There is no “bucket in the sky”. You should have clarified that there is an actual physical location. Now I can’t take you seriously.
Somehow my icloud drive got labeled as Desktop. I was wondering why I had two Desktops. I'm not sure how that happened. It looks like that Desktop is a file in iCloud. I've been wanting to fix this for the last two years. It's been driving me crazy but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to because I'm not exactly sure what's going on.
So cool 😎
I really need this info. Hopefully it’s what I need. Let me watch 😉
Is there any option to selectively sync an individual album in Photos app to iCloud instead of sync all the photos?
Great video a keeper thanks!
Fantastic Video. Well Made. Thanks.
Do you know if I can synchronize my Desktop in iCloud Drive with my windows PC? I cannot find the settings for this.
