Off-road supercars are for show not go, right? Not for us. Especially when the car in question is a jacked-up 911 that believes driving doesn’t have to end when the tarmac does. Welcome to the 911 Dakar: a high-riding armour-clad version of the 992 GTS. That means a 473bhp 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six at the back, four-wheel drive, and an eight-speed PDK gearbox... all raised 50mm higher off the ground than usual, while a lift system at both axles can extend the Dakar a further 30mm for “ambitious off-roading”. But is this recipe any good? We sent Top Gear Magazine’s Jack Rix out the office to put Porsche’s ‘tough’ new 911 Dakar through the wringer to find out. And because we’re thorough, we told him not to come back until he’d done it on sand AND snow. This has become my favourite Porsche of all time and you crushed it with this video!!! Sand, snow, autobahn…it’s made for everyday driving. Smashing!!!
what an awesome car!
I want 911 dakar vs huracan sterrado off road test
Americans had to stop using ‘slag’ as the name for a transformer, brits should have to stop using ‘fag’ for a cigarette.
This is a dream 😍👍 but for God’s sake, it’s “shtrahhsse” 😂
Automotive perfection 🥰 💞 👌 😍 ✨️ ❤️
The Snow footage is epic, I wouldn't taking my White 2022 Roush Mustang with the Proper 3rd Pedal 6 Speed Manual Transmission in either condition. In California they Salt the roads with Gravel and spending an hour to shovel out of the Wheel well. I used to own a 2016 and decided to not take S/N:22.0001.450R Great Show 🧑🏻🦱👍🏻🏎️🏁🚩
marketed as an offroad car, but really will be bought and used as a more durable and useable roadcar for countries with shitty/bumpy roads filled with potholes and speed bumps; still a good move by porsche. most sports-cars are too fragile for regular use on public roads in a lot of countries
Wish the launch control had anti-lag.
I order one with manual transmission and lighter body parts = 1000 kg
Looks like a winter beater for rich folks.
"I'm a driving god"

Cringe.
The 911 Dakar is as amazing as it looks.
Why do you look like you’re driving your dad’s car?
Finally! A 911 for Birmingham roads
It's a shame we'll never see what Ken Block would do with one of these bad boys. 😕
He would've loved this! 🖤
Gotta love a Tough Porsche!
Looks perfect to me___ finally one l'd take anywhere!
" I am a driving god!" Spoken by Richard Hammond first....
