Purdue just didn't have it. You could tell early on. It wasn't until halftime when it hit me they legitimately could end up losing the game. The sense of urgency never seemed to kick in for them even in the 2nd half when they still couldn't get anything going. Nothing short of a Virginia like comeback story (winning the championship next year) will ever make this embarrassment go away for Purdue.
I have never seen a team that was all over the Purdue players and not a foul was called. Maybe Purdue had a lousy day but that lousy team flu should have all been called out. They littery got away with more fouls that were not called than anyone I know. Who in the world picks the refs? I will take Purdue and a lot of other teams before I would even watch flu or whatever they are.
