I feel like there is a different energy in the air today. It feels tense and yet accutely aware. There is so much pressure. In cabin pressure conditions too far under the water. Will it explode or implode?
My feeling is that all the legislation and laws passed and were enacted, it felt like conservatives would understand the laws, but the liberals would always push everything to a breaking point then fighting it in court.
It’s like if they’re given a law that gives you the right to take an inch, they will push it to a mile every single time then having to fight to put restrictions on them. It’s like liberals take pride of pushing every single thing to their limits, every time. It’s like an addiction!
I disagree that conservatives ever opposed free speech. But I am perplexed at how hippies (liberals) went from always questioning authority and government, to being 100% trusting of the establishment and NEVER questioning authority and government.
They did a complete 180° turn since the 60s.

I was a military kid, in DOD schools, & didn't connect the denial of speech to a "left" or "right" political party, but would over hear military adults discussing that some people in the US didn't want our freedom of speech & to expect it will be denied to us 1 day. I also would hear them say that truth is always truth, even if we don't want to hear it. So to deny someone the right to speak truth does none of us any favors. *Hilary Clinton/tyrant/Xi & Putin Jr wannabe shut down Mika's speech, & Mika was cheerleadering her. Mika just didn't use the preferred words of praise, & she sat on her show, lips squeezed together, eyes wide open, shaking head "no", as she fought to keep her job. The tyrant wasn't in the president seat, & she had the power to shut down Mika, a prominent cheerleader, & go after Mika's job. Oh, & Mika AND Joe STILL voted demolition team.
