As remarkable of a woman as Queen Nzinga was, she did tragically contribute to the slavery of the African people, part of her own promise in the diplomatic treaty she established with the Portuguese, who naturally backtracked on their end of the deal. Haven’t seen anything of this series yet, but I’m hoping it will provide an accurate representation of the queen in both her triumphs and failures.

I actually enjoyed it. Even if there are slight inaccuracies, that’s history in general. Most events are based on artifacts and/or the stories of other who may change it up. But we don’t really know the full story on many of those events due to different POVs. However, it was different from the European documentaries and series that I’ve seen. With the project that this is can at least allow a start if one choose to read up more on the history of Angola and other African countries.
What a disgrace of series full of feminist ideology, coming from a narcissistic feminist who cheated on her husband and laugh at him publicly. Keep your stupid ideology in the west Don’t bring it to Africa , and shame to the Angola people for applauding such nonsense. Until she even went as far to say the queen is allowed to have multiple sex partners and called the men concubines . Jada pinkett please Keep your feminist ideology in America , Leave Africa alone

Is Nzinga, and this make me so sad because they should have worked with Angolan actors and actresses, they should at least ask for authorization or even do field research here. I really don't know if there was but we haven't been given any information and basically they are speaking English instead of our native language. Just because it's Jada Smith, because we already have a story on Nzinga and honestly it should be given credit.
